our school was selected by SPACE tech for participating in Project Paridhi (Winter Solstice ) on 22nd December . The main aim of this workshop was to measure shadows cast by the Sun, and using trigonometry formulae to calculate the circumference of the earth. It was organized at
Qutub Minar ,Mehrauli ,New Delhi.
Along with the project work they had a heritage walk. Our school stood third in finding the minimum percentage error for calculating circumference of the earth. It was really a great session for our students about space explorations.
